Click on picture to enlarge The designs on the faces of the Fantasy Clowns have been created by me and are individually drawn and painted by free hand.......a pattern has never been used. Therefore, no two faces will ever be entirely identical. None of these dolls are mass produced!! The names on the individual dolls are just to describe the design.......you name her when she is in your arms. These designs on the faces take numerous firings to capture the shine and brilliance of the 22kt gold and the translucent magic of the colors. A portion of the design is duplicated on the left porcelain hand and left porcelain ankle. In addition to the 22kt gold firings on the face, 22kt gold is used on the fingernails and the slippers are painted in 22kt gold. The bodies are cloth and are posable.Lots of ribbons, lace, and fancy fabrics are used in the costumes for each type of doll. The color used on the faces of the clowns is enhanced by the color of the costume. The collars always have an embellishment of ribbons, net, lace, cording and/or flowers attached. Emerald is 34" tall and weighs 5 lbs....a very large doll. Her costume is of hunter green Taffeta with white lace and hunter green ribbons and trims. Emerald is signed and dated.
